Location. The Sol Stella Maris Resort complex is built in a Mediterranean style, and set in pine forests situated by the sea three kilometres from the Croatian town of Umag. The Savudrian lighthouse (1847) is three kilometres from the hotel and the Baredine Cave is 40 kilometres away. Pula Airport is 80 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features. Sporting facilities at the resort include water sports, tennis courts, mini golf and beach volleyball. The hotel runs a kids' club and a teenagers' club, and offers organised evening and daytime entertainment for adults. There are two outdoor pools and two children's pools. There is Internet access in public areas (surcharge) and free parking is available.
The Sol Stella Maris has a buffet restaurant that serves international dishes buffet style and the � la Carte Restaurant serves regional specialities and international dishes in a contemporary setting. The Pizzeria serves traditional Italian pizzas.
Guestrooms. The hotel offers 527 apartments located over two floors, and all have light modern decor and furnishings and open on to balconies. Apartments include kitchens with refrigerators and coffee/tea makers, separate sitting areas with satellite television, and desks with telephones.
